Watch order

Toy Story 5 opened in US theaters on June 19, 2026, later arrived on digital purchase/rental, and began streaming on Disney+ on September 23, 2026. It is the fifth mainline entry on both tabs—watch 1–4 first.

Spin-offs & shorts

Lightyear is a movie Andy watched—an origin adventure about the fictional Buzz Lightyear character—not a prequel that Woody’s toys “lived through.” It is not an entry on this page. Watch it anytime as a spin-off; it does not replace or reorder Toy Story 1–5.
